API : PBX : Recording Transcribe Auto (M2M)

This request is invoked by the PBX servers when a recording has completed. It runs automatic transcription (and AI summarization) of the recording according to the setting of the recording owner: recording.transcribe on the employee for personal recordings, or recording.transcribe on the PBX settings for common recordings.

• DISABLED - nothing happens.
• TRANSCRIBE - the recording is transcribed.
• TRANSCRIBE_AND_SUMMARIZE - the recording is transcribed and an AI summary is generated in the language of the owner (the PBX default language for common recordings).

The language, transcription and summary are stored on the recording.

The automatic path respects the customer's AI allowance but never fails on it: a step whose allowance is used up - or a customer with no AI product at all - is skipped silently with a syslog line, and whatever is still allowed is done, so a recording can end up transcribed without a summary, or with neither. The on-demand Transcribe request fails with 402 quota_exceeded instead. See AI quota status.

A step skipped because the allowance is used up (not for a customer without an AI product) marks the recording with aiQuotaSkipped (see PbxRecordings). When the customer then buys an AI top-up, the current month's marked recordings are transcribed/summarized in the background - see AI top-up catch-up. The marker is removed once the recording has what the owner's setting asks for.
